Erika was born and raised in Murphy, NC. She grew up volunteering with local fire departments and the rescue squad and, after high school, received her Firefighter level II, Technical Rescuer and EMT certifications. She enjoys spending her time outdoors during the summer camping and jeeping. She lives with her two fur babies, Kipper and Harlan.

Erika started working in the veterinary business in 2015. She worked diligently to acquire the skills needed to fill many different positions in the hospital and, in 2019, Erika was promoted to Hospital Manager.
