Bonny joined our practice in the summer of 2024. She came to us from Colorado, where she has practiced as a Registered Veterinary Technician for 27 years. She has practiced in both general practice and emergency medicine. She also received a Bachelor's in Biology-Pre Nursing from Colorado Mesa University in the past 5 years. Since then, she has dove head first back into veterinary medicine with excitement. She is excited to now bring her knowledge and experience to Murphy Animal Clinic. She has made the move to the east coast to be closer to her aging parents. She has two adult children and one grandchild back in Colorado and one child here with her. Her and her husband have three dogs; a Boxer named LeeRoy, a Heeler mix named Zeke and a Min Pin mix named Deisel. Unfortunately, no cats as her family are all allergic. But she loves to interact with her favorite felines at work on a daily basis. While not dedicating her days at the clinic to help pets in need, she enjoys getting outside in the western NC mountains and rafting the Nantahala River and spending time with her family.
