Dr. Angelica Lewis was raised in the greater Boston area of Newton, Massachusetts. She attended Boston University where she obtained her bachelor's degree in biology. She has a great deal of pride for New England but loves to travel and meet people from all places. After graduating, she continued straight into veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts. During her time on the island, Dr. Lewis adopted a kitten and spent her free time playing beach volleyball with friends. Dr. Lewis completed her clinical year of studies at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. In Texas, she explored local restaurants and rekindled her love of running. She has just earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree with honors in January of 2025. Some of Dr. Lewis’s favorite areas of interest include cardiology, neurology and anesthesiology. Dr. Lewis has traded out the beach for the mountains and has recently settled in the town of Blue Ridge, Georgia. She is looking forward to starting work as a primary care veterinarian with Murphy Animal Clinic and fostering her new career with us!
